Welcome to Negio. By accessing or using our website at negio.app and our AI-powered negotiation companion service (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using Negio, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and that you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any additional terms that may apply. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Description of Service

Negio provides an AI-powered negotiation companion that helps users prepare for salary negotiations, review resumes, practice negotiation scenarios, and access negotiation tips and strategies. The Service includes:

• Salary Chat: AI-assisted salary research and negotiation coaching.
• Salary Planner: Personalized negotiation strategy generation with market analysis.
• Resume Reviewer: AI-powered resume analysis and scoring.
• Practice Mode: Simulated negotiation sessions with AI feedback.
• Tips & Tricks: Curated negotiation guidance and best practices.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account using a valid email address or through a supported third-party authentication provider (e.g., Google). You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• All activities that occur under your account.
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or are used for fraudulent purposes.

4. Subscription Plans and Payments

Negio offers time-based subscription plans that grant access to the full Service for a specified duration. By purchasing a plan, you agree to the following:

• One-time payments: All plans are one-time purchases, not recurring subscriptions. Your access expires at the end of the purchased period.
• Plan duration: Access begins immediately upon successful payment and expires after the purchased number of months.
• Usage limits: Each plan includes a daily chat limit. Unused daily chats do not carry over to the next day.
• Payment processing: Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your full payment card details.

5. Refund Policy

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee from the date of purchase, no questions asked. If you are not satisfied with the Service for any reason, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your original purchase date.

To request a refund, go to Settings and click the refund link, or contact us at our contact page. Refunds are typically processed within 5–10 business days and returned to the original payment method.

After 14 days, refund requests may be considered on a case-by-case basis at our discretion. Please contact our support team for assistance.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems.
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access or interact with the Service beyond normal use.
• Share, resell, or redistribute your account access or content generated by the Service for commercial purposes without our written consent.
• Upload malicious files, viruses, or any content designed to disrupt the Service.
• Abuse, harass, or misuse the AI systems in a manner inconsistent with their intended purpose.

7. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

The Service uses artificial intelligence to provide negotiation coaching, salary research, resume reviews, and practice scenarios. Please be aware that:

• Not professional advice: AI-generated content is for informational and educational purposes only. It does not constitute legal, financial, employment, or professional advice.
• No guarantees: We do not guarantee specific outcomes from using the Service, including salary increases, job offers, or negotiation results.
• Accuracy: While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated salary data and recommendations may not reflect your exact market conditions. Always verify important information independently.
• Your responsibility: You are solely responsible for any decisions made based on information provided by the Service.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, software, and AI models, are the exclusive property of Negio and are protected by intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of any personal data and documents (e.g., resumes) you upload to the Service. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process it solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

9. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using the Service, you consent to the practices described therein.

10. Service Availability

We strive to keep the Service available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. We may temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance, updates, or security reasons. We are not liable for any losses resulting from service interruptions.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Negio and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. This includes, but is not limited to, damages for loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
